Google Ad words Updates Old vs New version


Spread out to potential customers within a few kilometers of any business, or broadcast ads to whole Globe (regions or countries). With AdWords, it’s up to you.

With text-based search ads, graphic display ads, YouTube video ads, or in-app mobile ads, you have plenty of ways to reach your target customer with AdWords.

The new interface has been progressively developing out to more advertisers over the past year, and Google says it will be available to everyone by year-end. Those with access can still navigate back and forth between the two interfaces.

At first, I was intimidated by these exams as these platforms are quite vast and can take sheer amount of practice & learning to understand them well. But i studied hard and put considerable amount of practice which eventually paid off. this is my own experience that I share.

How to Become a Google Ad Words Certified Professional (Google Partner)



Many people recently asked me how to become a Google Ad Words certified professional.  Can you do for me?
I recently became Google Analytics & AdWords certified. At first, I was intimidated by these exams as these platforms are quite vast and can take sheer amount of practice & learning to understand them well. But i studied hard and put considerable amount of practice which eventually paid off.
Before we go into the steps to clear these exams, let’s first understand their structure.

A Step-by-Step Guide: How to prepare for Google AdWords certification
There is a bit of confusion in this arena because Google recently changed how the entire certification program works.

Google AdWords certification is definitely a plus if you want to brand yourself as a PPC expert. (But keep in mind that passing this exam alone does not make you an expert). Read more about how to become a self-made digital marketing expert.
Earlier, the test alone costed $50 to try and the process of the certificate issue was different. Now it is free to take the test. If you take the test and fail, there is a time period where you have to wait before you can give it a go again.
The entire certification program is now re-branded as ‘Google Partners‘. You can access the Google Partners website at https://www.google.com/partners/
There are below exams available:
§  Advertising Fundamentals
§  Advanced Search
§  Advanced Display
§  Analytics
§  Mobile Sites
§  Digital Sales

To become AdWords certified, you need to pass 2 exams. The AdWords Fundamentals and anyone of these– Search Advertising, Display Advertising, Video Adverting, Mobile Advertising & Shopping Advertising

After you pass the exam and become certified, Google allows you to showcase it to the world. There is a printable version of the certificate which you can access from the Google Partners login. Here’s mine:



You can also get a link which you can share online. This link will show your profile with the certification. If someone wants to verify it online they can. This link will be accessible for you from your Google Partners login under the My Profile page. Make sure that you turn the visibility into public so that others can see it.
For the purposes of simplicity I strongly recommend that you use the same Google account that you have for your Google+ profile/account.
Applicable for all exams
  • ·         Minimum Passing Score-80%
  • ·         Retake option- If you didn’t pass the exam, you can retake the test after 7 days
  • ·         Certification Cost- Free
  • ·         The exam cannot be paused. You also cannot flag or return to a previous question
  • ·         Varies based on the type of exam
  • ·         Duration: 90-120 Mins
  • ·         Number of questions: 55-100
  • ·         Certificate Validity Period: 12-24 Months
  • ·         Available in 15-43 languages

How to pass these exams: 6 Steps

Step 1: Do not do these things.
 ·         Don’t waste your time on 100% success rate study guides available on the internet
·         Don’t waste your time on random YouTube video tutorials. They are just not enough
·         Don’t buy any online guide/course to pass these exams. You just don’t need them
·         I can tell you this so confidently because I did the same thing and end up wasting a couple of days. Just remember one thing. No one in this world can prepare you better for these exams other than Google itself.

STEP 2: Stick to Google’s exam study guides.
·         Google Academy provides PDF Guides and Video Tutorials for all the exams.
·         Start your preparation with these guides.
·         They are more than enough to cover all the exam basics. Rest depends on your practical application/practice with these platforms. 

STEP 3: Make Notes. Study at your own pace.
